Britannia University attended at National Hackathon 2016

Hackathon are globally recognized marathon coding events. The National Hackathon 2016 were organized by ICT division, it features social-public related issues as problem statement and ask the participants to innovate new solutions to solve the problems. More than 500 team were applied from different universities of Bangladesh. Successfully two team of Britannia University from Department of CSE got selected for participating 36 hours of non-stop coding at National Hackathon 2016. Our two teams were successfully participated in “Agriculture productivity” and “Newborns and children” domain with the solution title of “চাষি ভাই” and “ডাক্তার আপা” respectively. And Sheikh abujar, Faculty member of CSE were being selected for participating as Judge and mentor by ICT division. Both teams and mentor were successfully participated at The National Hackathon 2016, PSC convention hall, Mirpur 14 by 6th and 7th April - 2016. Both teams project were seen and highly appreciated by Honourable ICT minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak and CEO of Banglalink Erik Aas. Distinguished judges and mentors highly encouraged those projects and approved to upload those applications in different apps stores.
